The cutting platform is UV transparent and this allows you to see the bands you wish to remove while viewing them on your UV transilluminator. The platform measures 22 x 27cm and is designed to sit comfortably on top of your UV transilluminator filter. This setup ensures that you don't damage the filter while cutting the bands out with a sharp cutting tool.
Please remember to keep the fitted UV transilluminator shield up at all times, as this will block the UV light from reaching the user.
