Triton X-100 10% Solution (Non-ionic)
T-Octylphenoxpolyethoxyethanol used to solubilise proteins. Hydrophobic membrane proteins are suited to more non ionic detergents.
Used in buffers to reduce ionic effects as alernative to cationic compounds such as Tris.
