The PrepOne™ Sapphire Blue LED Gel Illuminator is combined with a collapsible photo hood for visualizing and taking pictures of fluorescent stained gels with a smart phone or tablet. The photo hood dimensions are optimized for the auto-focus on your smart phone camera – no need to mess with controls, zoom, and lighting. Assembly is easy and collapsible into 5 flat pieces for convenient storage.

The PrepOne™ Sapphire Blue LED Gel Illuminator is a first-of-its-kind blue LED gel light box that allows you to visualize your gel without a protective mask, shield, or filter that obstructs your access. The PrepOne™ is designed for preparative applications and viewing DNA gels stained with fluorescent dyes with wavelengths of approx. 490 nm. Say good-bye to UV photo-nicking and hazardous waste.
