Powerful, precise, and flexible real-time PCR detection systems achieve the best results, only when the finest consumables are used. Thistle Scientific offers strip tubes with optically clear caps, 96-well hard shell PCR plates and sealing films to achieve this.

These White 96 Well Skirted Hard Shell PCR Plates feature white low profile wells, shorter than “standard” profile wells, so reducing the “dead space” between the heated lid of the thermal cycler and the sample in the well. This eliminates condensation forming on the side wall of the tubes, preventing reduction in PCR volume and increasing the efficiency of the reaction. Especially recommended for reaction volumes below 20μl. The rigid polycarbonate skirt of this design eliminates warping and distortion during PCR, and makes them ideal for use with robotic systems.
