VP 177AD-1
V&P’s new 96 CHANNEL MANIFOLD (VP 177AD-1) will fill your 96 well microplates with sterile growth media, buffers and other solutions. The VP 177AD-1 differs from the VP 177AD in that the plates are slid in under the manifold instead of placing the manifold on top on the plate. Our spring loaded manifold delivery system makes plate filling very easy.
The VP 177AD-1 is very adaptable with a simple Z adjustment to accommodate both deep well and standard 96 well microplates. Designed for high throughput filling of multiple microplates.
A Luer inlet nipple is used to connect the Inlet 2 way valve to the manifold. When the syringe plunger is raised liquid is drawn from the source bottle through the Inlet Valve. Depressing the plunger dispenses the liquid through the manifold. The two way valve is included with the VP 177AD-1. We also offer several bottle top dispensers, the most popular is the VP 195K.
Three “Z” adjustment stops allow the dispense tubes to be set at any height above a standard or deep well microplate. The manifold is held up by 3 springs and is pushed down to the Z stop prior to dispensing.
The plate slider/registration feature provides a simple but sure method of placing the dispense tubes in the center of the wells and then reposition the pins to edges of wells.
*This product has not been tested with all types of solutions, for example, those containing or comprised of various detergents and/or organic solvents. If your application includes these types of solutions, preliminary testing may be needed.

V&P Scientific has been working closely with scientists to develop new economical dispensing applications for over 40 years. We have solved many problems and feel that one of our 60 different aspiration manifolds may be the solution for your new protocol.
One of our customers used our VP 177AD-1 (96 needle dispensing manifold) to solve their dispensing need.
The University of California, Riverside in Collaboration with USAID, presented a poster at Plant & Animal Genome 2015. The following V&P Scientific products were used for their research on DNA isolation of cowpea samples: VP 177A-1, VP 177AD-1, VP 177A-1B, VP 771MDWM-1
Their experimental kit was able to process 96 samples in 6 hours, whereas a standard kit has a run time of approximately 3 hours for only 24 samples. The experimental magnetic bead kit also yielded an 18% decrease in cost compared to the Standard Kit. Click here to see the poster.
