COVID-19 Response Statement
Given the current circumstances surrounding the ongoing worldwide coronavirus outbreak, we would like to take this opportunity to reassure you that Thistle Scientific are taking the necessary precautions to protect both our staff and customers. Below I have outlined the current measures we are taking, while continuously monitoring the situation and guidance from the UK government.
Supply Chain
At present, we have seen and reported no problems from our suppliers, with regards to the stock and production of popular products. We will continue to work closely with suppliers to minimise any potential disruptions to your work throughout this difficult period. If you are concerned about the supply of a particular product or have extensive usage planned for a specific project, you can contact us via phone or email using the contact details below:

Site visits, meetings and exhibitions
We will be following advice from the UK government regarding social distancing. Our Territory Managers remain available for meetings and equipment demonstrations where necessary. However, we understand that your institution may recommend stricter measures with regards to outside visitors. We will, therefore, offer to move all meetings to phone or video conferencing where possible. If you have a meeting scheduled and would like to move to a phone or video call, please contact your local Territory Manager to arrange this.
Equipment demonstrations will remain available and can be facilitated without a site visit from our staff where feasible. For any equipment demonstration enquiries, please contact your local Territory Manager or our main office at enquiries@thistlescientific.co.uk.
To protect our staff from potential exposure, Thistle scientific will not be participating in any exhibitions in the months of March or April and will review this policy as the current situation develops.
Our staff and business
We take the health and safety of our staff extremely seriously and will be taking additional precautionary measures to ensure this. Where possible our staff will be able to work from home while continuing to provide you with the great customer service you expect from us. We have also implemented a range of hygiene measures throughout our office areas to help limit potential transmission of the coronavirus in line with government advice. Furthermore, we have taken the decision to forego any overseas travel for our staff for the foreseeable future to limit their potential exposure to affected areas.
